DigitalOcean is one of the best developer cloud computing platforms available.
The ease of spinning up a new Ubuntu, FreeBSD, Fedora, CentOS, or Debian server couldn't be more simple and quick. The plain and straightforward interface makes choosing my new virtual server options fast and easy.
DigitalOcean offers virtual server hosting what they call Droplets along with Container Distributions such as CoreOS, Fedora Atomic, and RancherOS. They also offer these one click apps - Discourse, Django, Docker, Dokku, Ghost, GitLab, LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, MongoDB, MySQL, NodeJS, PhpMyAdmin, Ruby-on-Rails, WordPress.
They offer an online data storage product called Spaces. Here I can store my images and files with ease. I can also add virtual storage volumes to use with my Droplets.
The networking, monitoring and API tools help to scale any application or virtual server. This is one of the greatest advantages to using DigitalOcean as my go to cloud computing platform.
If I need to find out how to use DigitalOcean or any of their options with just a few clicks I can go through one of their easy to understand walkthroughs or search their support page for what I need.
DigitalOcean really makes app development pleasant, affordable, and fast. The documentation available at DigitalOcean is unsurpassed and this makes DigitalOcean products quicker and easier to use than most others in this space.
